Learn moreSalida, California · Stanislaus County
Salida is a densely built unincorporated community immediately north of Modesto, reached in minutes via CA-219 (Kiernan Avenue) right off CA-99 -- close enough that many residents consider it a direct extension of the city.

Salida's downtown still follows the original triangular town layout laid out in 1870, centered on Broadway with its oak-lined walking trail. A major Blue Diamond almond processing facility operates nearby, reflecting the almond cultivation that has long defined this stretch of the county, and Salida's own population has grown into one of the largest unincorporated communities in the region.
Given how dense and fast-growing Salida is, we see plenty of residential remodel and moving-cleanout debris, new-home construction debris in newer subdivisions, and occasionally almond-processing or agricultural-property cleanup tied to the Blue Diamond facility and surrounding orchards.

CA-219 (Kiernan Avenue) has its own western terminus at an interchange with CA-99 right in Salida, making this one of the fastest, most direct trips in our service area -- a short run up CA-99 from our Modesto yard, then onto CA-219.
